The temporary employment agency Laudamotion Operations GmbH, which was founded under Niki Lauda, is in the process of voluntary dissolution. The company reported the liquidation to the Korneuburg Regional Court, as is evident from a mandatory publication in the official gazette of the Wiener Zeitung.

In the course of the takeover of assets of the insolvent Air Berlin subsidiary Niki Luftfahrt GmbH by Laudamotion GmbH, Laudamotion Operations GmbH was founded at the end of January 2018. This should act as a temporary employment agency for the flying personnel. Not least because of public pressure from media reports, the former Niki employees were then able to choose between direct employment and temporary work.

Only a few employees decided to work through Laudamotion Operations GmbH. With the conclusion of the collective agreement in the course of 2018, almost all those affected were transferred to direct employment. Only a few months after the death of Niki Lauda, the comeback of temporary work followed, but Laudamotion Operations GmbH has played no role since then. Branches of the Irish Crewlink Ltd. act as service providers.

Laudamotion Operations GmbH is now in liquidation. The previous managing director, Andreas Gruber, acts as the processor. An exact time for the final closure and removal from the commercial register cannot yet be foreseen. This process has no influence on the former airline Laudamotion GmbH and its successor Lauda Europe Ltd.
