Just a few days ago, the financially troubled Lake Constance Airport proudly announced that Lufthansa is resuming its flight connection to Frankfurt. But now it will be discontinued from today.

According to the Lufthansa press spokesman, the reason for this is the low number of bookings - too few people still dare to board the plane. In the midst of the industry's biggest crisis to date, the route cannot be maintained like this.

The farewell should only be temporary. Because from September a new attempt is to be made to re-establish the route. Before the pandemic, the aircraft of the AUA parent company flew into the financial metropolis four times a day. The decision of the carrier throws the airport through the bill. Most of all, the airport doesn't like the way you found out about it. How suedkurier.de reported, those responsible only got a Facebook message about the discontinuation of the wind route.
