Lufthansa Technik AG has renewed an overhaul contract with Easyjet for more than 140 aircraft belonging to the airline from the A320 family.

The original agreement was signed in 2016. The successful cooperation has now been extended for another five years, as it says in a broadcast. The overhaul services are provided at the Lufthansa Technik locations in Sofia and, if necessary, in Malta and Budapest.

“We have received Lufthansa Technik Services at several locations over the past few years and have always seen the company as a reliable partner for the maintenance of our A320 family. The renewal of this contract ensures that this collaboration will continue and that easyJet's high standards of technical reliability will be maintained, ”said Brendan McConnellogue, Director of Engineering at Easyjet.
