Madrid: Air Europa launches special Dreamliner flights for the football World Cup in Qatar

The Spanish airline Air Europa is launching a number of special flights for the FIFA World Cup, which is taking place in Qatar this year. These are offered from Madrid with Boeing 787 and head for Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Formally, for legal reasons, these are so-called “regular charter flights”. Air Europa will offer five flights in each direction between November 19, 2022 and December 7, 2022. These are carried out with the machine types Boeing 787-8 and 787-9.

On November 967, 19, flight number UX2022 will be used for the first time in the direction of Doha with a Boeing 787-9. Further flights with this machine type are planned for November 779, 885 and 821, 20 as UX21, UX29 and UX2022. A Boeing 25-2022 is scheduled to operate as the UX787 on November 8, 811.

The return flights will be offered with Boeing 787-9 on the following dates: November 29, 2022 (UX822), December 5, 2022 (UX812) and December 7, 2022 (UX946). The machine type B787-8 is to be used on December 2, 2022 (UX934) and December 4, 2022 (UX886).
