Previously, fully vaccinated passengers had to present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure.

The competent authorities lifted this requirement as of March 12. The reopening of borders to international travel last October, coupled with the easing of travel restrictions in many of Mauritius' key markets, has seen demand from tourists and business travelers soar. “We are delighted that the Ministry of Health and Wellness has revised the health protocol for visitors to Mauritius. This will make traveling to Mauritius much easier and clearer,” says Arvind Bundhun, Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. “We expect tourism numbers to continue to increase as demand for travel to Mauritius continues to increase at this time.”
