The Ryanair Group carried around 2021 million passengers in March 0,5. The group was 91 percent below the same month last year. Compared to February 2021, the low-cost airline could not change significantly.

Ryanair announced that a loss of 800 to 850 million euros is expected. This improved the prognosis, because most recently it was assumed that there would be a deficit of up to 950 million euros. The lowcoster's fiscal year ended on March 31, 2021.

CEO Michael O'Leary did not want to make a forecast for the period that has been running since April 1, 2021, referring to the dynamic pandemic situation. It has been suggested that red numbers could possibly be flown in again. The expected number of passengers has been revised down to 80 to 120 million travelers. O'Leary justified this with the slow progress in vaccination in the European Union.
