The airline Air Montenegro has brought a lawsuit against an alleged trademark infringement. The insolvency administrator of its predecessor, Montenegro Airlines, is taking to court.

According to local media reports, he sees a trademark violation, as the Adler logo looks very similar. He therefore demands that the use of the symbol be stopped immediately or that Air Montenegro pay an appropriate license fee to the insolvency estate of Montenegro Airlines.

At the beginning of the week, the first Air Montenegro flight was operated from Podgorica. The aircraft used was an Embraer 190, operated by the German airline German Airways. This was not painted in the livery of the new state airline.
