Exactly 917.296 passengers used Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg in the Corona year. So bad numbers no longer wrote the Nuremberg airport for more than 30 years.

The last time fewer than one million annual passengers were counted was in 1985. The 77,7 percent drop compared to the previous year can be attributed to the pandemic-related restrictions. At least there is hope for a better year in 2021. "The vaccination campaign that is currently underway is giving hope for the summer of 2021. In addition to Tuifly, the tourist airline Corendon Airlines is currently planning to significantly expand its offering in Nuremberg," said the airport.
