At least some of the Vienna Airport will be operating Terminal 15 again from June 2021, 1. For the time being, only the check-in counters will be used because security checks and boarding will continue to be carried out exclusively in Terminal 3.

Some airlines will check-in their passengers from June 15, 2021 in Terminal 1, which has been closed since mid-March 2020. The travelers then use the landside area of Terminal 2 as a passage to Terminal 3. This is where security checks and boarding are carried out. The gate areas B, C, D, which are assigned to the terminals 1 and 2, will remain out of operation, at least for the time being. Even the newly built one Security check in Terminal 2 is not used until further notice. Also the new baggage carousels in Terminal 2 remain unused for the time being.

Passengers who want to check in baggage or who want to check-in at the counter are advised to use this link on the Flughafen Wien AG website from June 15, 2021 to find out in which terminal the check-in will be carried out.
