For three alleged notebook thieves, the journey ends before it has even started.

The German federal police arrested three men who apparently wanted to leave the country for Turkey with 30 stolen laptops in their luggage. During a routine baggage check at the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER), the officers noticed a conspicuous number of computers in a suitcase and were puzzled. So they examined it more closely and discovered that almost all of its content had been reported as stolen. The owner was immediately arrested. The luggage of his two companions was also searched. Her luggage, which was already loaded on the plane, contained 14 other laptops. Much of the computers would have been the result of various thefts, reports the Time. All three men were known to the police - they are now being investigated on suspicion of stolen goods.
