From mid-December 2021, golf carrier Qatar Airways will be visiting Vienna-Schwechat Airport more frequently, as it will increase to ten weekly rounds. The additional flights are to be served with the Airbus A320.

As the airline from Qatar confirmed to Aviation Direct, a morning flight to Doha will be offered from Vienna on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from December 16, 2021 until the end of March 2022 for the time being. This is to be served with medium-haul jets of the type Airbus A320.

As a rule, Boeing 787 long-haul jets will be used on the remaining seven circuits, which are offered in the afternoon and evening. The increase is explained by Qatar Airways with the good booking situation on this route.
