Olfa Al-Hamdi only sat in the executive chair of Tunisair for seven weeks. Now the 30-year-old has been fired and this was justified by the fact that she was said to have behaved uncooperatively with the unions and the government.
The government also accuses the manager of having published confidential documents on social media platforms. Transport Minister Moez Chakchouk said the dismissal without notice was inevitable.
About seven weeks ago, Olfa Al-Hamdi was presented as a bearer of hope for Tunisair. Now the interlude is over again. The successor should be decided shortly. In any case, the fronts between the government and the fired airline boss seem to have hardened. This conclusion is based on numerous, quite aggressive postings by Al-Hamdi on social media platforms.
