Austrian Airlines operated the last turboprop flight on Monday. Eight machines were taken over by Regional One and will be handed over to this lessor after the completion of technical work that will be carried out in Bratislava.

An AUA spokesman confirmed to CH-Aviation.com that the last eight DHC Dash 8-400s had been sold to Regional One. The media officer did not provide financial details, referring to the confidentiality of the deal. Austrian Airlines originally operated 18 turboprop aircraft of this type. In the meantime, buyers have been found for all machines.

The OE-LGK, OE-LGL, OE-LGM, OE-LGN, OE-LGO, OE-LGQ, OE-LGI, OE-LGJ were sold to Regional One. With which airline the eight named DHC Dash 8-400 will be used in the future is still open. It can be assumed, however, that it will not be long before Regional One has found a lessee.
