The airline Cobrex Trans, founded in 1994, was revoked by the Romanian civil aviation authority AOC and its operating license. The carrier's fleet last consisted of a Boeing 737-300 and a Eurocopter AS 365N1.
The company specialized in the provision of ACMI and charter services and in the past also flew from Germany for various airlines, including Germania. Originally, they only operated helicopters before the first and only Boeing 2016-737 flew in in 300.
Cobrex Trans should also fly for the Romanian branch of HiSky. However, it did not actually come to that, however, according to reports, numerous employees from Cobrex Trans are said to have switched to HiSky. The Romanian Aviation Authority did not provide any detailed information on the withdrawal of the AOC and operating license. A routine financial capacity check would have been carried out.
