The Ryanair Group has created more facts about the abolition of the Lauda brand identity. The homepage of the Austrian subsidiary Laudamotion GmbH has now been switched off. The SSL certificate has not been renewed for a while, so visitors receive a warning message.

The Lauda homepage was never a real website under the ownership of Ryanair, but only a recolored version of the website of the sister company Ryanair DAC. Strictly speaking, it was just a language setting that resulted in the website of the Irish lowcosters appearing with the Lauda logo and red instead of blue. Not anymore. If you visit laudamotion.com, you land on the “real” Ryanair page. The language setting “Lauda” no longer exists.

In the course of the re-registration of the A320 fleet from the Austrian Laudamotion to the Maltese successor Lauda Europe, the reference to the website under the Lauda logo was removed without replacement. It is unclear whether the company based in Schwechat has in the meantime returned the AOC and operating license or not: It is still listed on the homepage of the Climate Protection Ministry, but this did not answer a corresponding question.

Like almost all Ryanair subsidiaries, Lauda Europe also has its own Internet URL. This is laudaeur.com, but unlike its Polish sister company Buzz, it does not have its own website. The domain is currently only used for email addresses.
