The low-cost airline Wizz Air carried a total of 2021 passengers in September 2.998.797. This was around 600.000 passengers below the value that could be achieved in August 2021.

The occupancy rate deteriorated from 83,6 percent to 78,4 percent in a month-on-month comparison. In September 2021, the group was only slightly above the transport performance of July 2021, but the loading editor was 0,1 percent worse.

August 2021 was likely to have been influenced by the fact that a particularly large number of people go on vacation in this calendar month. A comparison with the previous year's figures shows that from this month the number of passengers has dropped dramatically. Whether Wizz Air can counter this trend this year will also depend on the further development of entry and quarantine regulations in various countries.
