The airline Smartlynx Malta has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-300. This has the registration 9H-SMD and has already been transferred from Birmingham to Luqa. The passenger aircraft is to be used as a freighter.

The Airbus A330 with the serial number 1382 is 8,3 years old and was previously used by Singapore Airlines and Evelop Airlines. Smartlynx Malta is the freight specialist within the group and will operate five A330s in the future. In addition, two A321Fs will soon be added to the fleet.
