The Irish regional airline Stobart Air is no longer part of the Stobart Group (Esken). The carrier was sold to Ettyl, based on the Isle of Man. The purchase price was communicated at around ten million pounds sterling.
Esken also parted ways with Carlisle Lake Airport. This also went to the Isle of Man-based buyer at a price of around 15 million euros. Stobart Air mainly operates as a wet lease carrier for Aer Lingus. Previously, Flybe franchisees operated numerous flights to London Southend. This airport is owned and operated by Sken.
