Thailand will open its borders to fully vaccinated air travelers from abroad from November 1st.
Initially, tourists from ten countries that are considered to be low-risk countries will be admitted, as reported by ORF. In addition to Germany, these include the USA, China, Great Britain and Singapore. In December, the regulation is to be extended to other countries. At the same time, however, the relief is also linked to a number of conditions. A negative PCR test must be presented immediately upon arrival. But even that is not enough. Because in addition to this, testing must also be carried out on site.
Vaccinated tourists currently have to stay in quarantine in a hotel for at least seven days. An exception is the island of Phuket, where vacationers are allowed to move freely and can travel to other regions after a week.
