The Maltese archipelago has a wealth of fascinating places to visit that will delight visitors of all ages and interests. From the historical treasures of Valletta and Mdina, to the natural beauty of the Blue Grotto and Blue Lagoon, to the picturesque tranquility of Gozo and Comino, there is something for everyone here. Whether you are looking for culture, history, the beach or adventure, Malta, Gozo and Comino will enchant you with their diversity and beauty. A visit to this Mediterranean paradise is truly unforgettable.

Malta

Valetta: The capital of Malta is a veritable treasure trove of history. With its fortified walls, imposing fortresses and magnificent palaces, Valletta offers a unique blend of cultural heritage and contemporary elegance. A visit to the Palace of the Grand Masters and St. John's Co-Cathedral is an absolute must.

Mdina: Also known as the “Silent City”, this medieval city is a true testament to Maltese history. Its narrow, winding streets, ancient city walls and majestic palaces take visitors back in time. A walk through Mdina at sunset is an unforgettable experience.

The Blue Grotto: Located on the south coast of Malta, the Blue Grotto is a true natural wonder. With its clear, turquoise water and impressive rock formations, it is a paradise for snorkelers and divers. A boat trip to this magical cave is an absolute highlight.

Gozo

The Citadel: Located in the heart of the city of Victoria, the Citadel is a historic gem. With its imposing walls, fortresses and ancient palaces, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Visiting the Gothic Palace and Gozo Cathedral is a must.

Ramla Bay: With its reddish sand and turquoise waters, Ramla Bay is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Malta. The beach is surrounded by green hills and lush vegetation, providing an idyllic setting for relaxing and sunbathing.

The Azur Window (Fungus Rock): Although the Azur Window tragically collapsed in 2017, Fungus Rock remains an awe-inspiring natural spectacle. This rock formation rises majestically from the sea and offers a magnificent view of the turquoise waters. The nearby Inland Sea, a natural inland port, is also worth a visit.

The Blue Lagoon: The Blue Lagoon is undoubtedly one of Comino's main attractions. With its crystal clear turquoise waters, it is a true heaven on earth. A day at the Blue Lagoon offers the opportunity to sunbathe, swim and snorkel in stunning surroundings. It should be noted, however, that the Blue Lagoon is extremely crowded with tourists. During peak season it's more like a crowded municipal swimming pool.

Santa Maria Bay: This secluded cove on Comino is a real gem. Surrounded by high cliffs and with its clear waters, it is a perfect place to escape from mass tourism and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. Unlike the Blue Lagoon, there is a sandy beach here.

Comino Tower: Comino Tower, also known as St. Mary's Tower, is a historic watchtower built in the 17th century. It offers a fantastic panoramic view of the island and the surrounding sea. Climbing the tower rewards visitors with breathtaking views. The former quarantine station and the abandoned pig farm are also within walking distance via a heliport, which is still operational, at least on paper.
