The airlines Transavia France and Volotea have again postponed their respective comeback at Vienna-Schwechat Airport. The Spanish low-cost airline wants to reactivate the Nantes route just before Christmas by January 3, 2022.

Transavia France has postponed the resumption of the flight connection to Paris-Orly until October 22, 2021. However, there will be another break from November 14, 2021 until December 5, 2021. Then you suspend a week, but the offer ends again on January 3, 2022. From the beginning of February 2022, flights are to be carried out continuously until the end of the winter flight schedule period 2021/22. On request, the carrier was unable to explain why the Vienna-Orly offer was postponed and provided with a few gaps.

Volotea is only making a short Christmas guest appearance

The competitor Volotea wanted to make the comeback in Vienna in mid-September 2021. The Nantes route was postponed to December 2021 and will now be served from December 3, 2021. However, on January 3, 2022 it will be over again. This route will then be paused until April 1, 2022. Bilbao will only be served twice a week from April 7, 2022.

The Volotea flight connections to Vienna-Schwechat have been paused since the beginning of the corona pandemic. In the past, destinations such as Genoa were also available, but these were unsuccessful and were therefore discontinued after a short time.
