The Czech trade inspection CTIA warns against bookings with the provider Fischer Air, which is for the summer of 2024 offers numerous flights from airports in the Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland. The domain fischerair.eu was added to the list of risky online shops.

The authority refers to information from České Budějovice and Pardubice airports. Fischer Air had held discussions with them, but these were broken off without results. Nevertheless, airline tickets are being sold at what the CTIA believes are “unusually low prices”.

“No one is listed as the operator of the website, so the website is completely anonymous and the consumer does not know with whom he is concluding a purchase contract and against whom he can assert his rights. The Czech Trade Inspection warns against buying on these sites,” explains the CTIA on its website.

There is an A.M.F. in the imprint. Aircraftleasing Meier & Fischer GmbH, which, according to CTIA, should reside in a private residential building in Hamburg. Furthermore, unlike the payment methods common in the industry, only bank transfer is offered. According to CTIA, this is said to pose a risk to potential ticket buyers.
