The Tui Group's hotel brands are preparing for the holiday season. After a turbulent Corona year, they want to offer their guests one thing above all: a safe yet varied stay. On the occasion of ITB Now 2021, Artur Gerber, Managing Director of Tui Blue, and Bernd Mäser, Managing Director of the club brands Robinson and Tui Magic Life, presented the latest hotel trends and new holiday experiences.
Tui Blue is opening the lifestyle brand's second store in Germany. “We bring a breath of fresh air to the popular North Sea island. The Tui Blue Sylt is well booked, the guests trust our tried and tested hygiene concepts and look forward to the newly designed accommodation. As soon as hotel stays in Germany are possible again, we will open our doors, ”says Artur Gerber.
In addition to the new hotel on Sylt, four other Tui Blue hotels complement the summer program. These include the new boutique hotel Tui Blue Puntamare in Sicily with 45 rooms, the family-oriented Tui Blue Grupotel Turquesa Mar on Menorca, the Tui Blue Pascha Bay on the Turkish Riviera and the Tui Blue Kalamota Island Resort in Dubrovnik. The brand's first hotel in the Maldives will also open just in time for the main travel season in autumn. The newly built Tui Blue Olhuveli in the South Malé Atoll has 98 beach and water villas with their own pool.
Bungee Fitness & Co .: New sports offers by far
Hygiene and safety measures are still important booking criteria for summer 2021. The TUI's 10-point plan has been further developed to provide the greatest possible protection against infections. In addition, all package tours and hotel bookings up to and including October include free Covid Protect insurance. The hotel brands are also introducing new types of sports and gastronomy concepts that also work with a lot of distance and in the fresh air.
"Trying out new sports is a welcome change for many guests after the months of lockdown," the broadcast said. For example, several Tui Blue hotels have included bungee fitness in their program and some Tui Blue For Two Hotels have expanded their open-air range with innovative training kits that enable functional training to be taken away.
