Around 49 percent of Austrians are of the opinion that everyday behavior when it comes to Corona is “too carefree”. This is the result of a survey that Unique Research carried out on behalf of the news magazine Profil.
In direct comparison with research carried out in September 2020, the proportion of people who believe that Corona is dealt with “too carelessly” in everyday life has decreased by 12 percent. Thirty-eight percent of respondents think everyday behavior is appropriate and nine percent think they are “too cautious”.
There are big differences according to party preferences: In the ÖVP camp, the number of those who notice excessive caution is negligible (one percent), while the proportion among FPÖ voters is 31 percent. 800 people were interviewed. According to Unique Research, the fluctuation range is 3,5 percentage points.
