A three-day warning strike by the Handling Counts began at Frankfurt Airport today. It is a 100 percent subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo.

At 6.00:XNUMX a.m., Handling Counts freight handling staff stopped work to put pressure on collective bargaining, as a spokesman for the Verdi union told the aviation portal Aero. The walkout has no effect on passengers. In the area of import and export, however, failures and delays can occur.

According to Verdi, it has been negotiating a collective wage agreement since February. In particular, it is about an increase in wages for the approximately 200 employees in the handling counts. It's the second strike in a month. Verdi wanted to get things moving in collective bargaining, the union said. After the previous 24-hour strike on April 6, the management did not react to it at the negotiating table, but offered a bonus of 100 euros for those employees who did not take part in the strike, it is said.
