The Ukrainian Windrose Airlines will take over an Airbus A330-200 from Maleth-Aero. The transition is based on a wet lease agreement with the leasing company AELF - Aircraft Engine Lease Finance.
The almost 15-year-old aircraft once belonged to the Atlas Global fleet, like the news portal Swiss Aviation reported. The Turkish airline based in Istanbul ceased operations on February 12, 2020. Apparently the Ukrainian carrier uses the machine for cargo flights to New York. Since November 19, she has been flying the Kiev-Borispol and New York-JFK routes back and forth on behalf of the postal operator.
