The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will add two destinations in Jordan, Akaba and Amman. These are to be used for the first time shortly before Christmas and are available from 9,99 euros.
With regard to Aqaba, it should be noted that this airport is within sight of the Israeli Eilat-Ramon. Wizz Air flew to the Israeli airport until the outbreak of the corona pandemic. Now you change to the other side of the border to Aqaba. The border crossing between Israel and Jordan is possible without any problems, but associated with high fees that are collected by both countries.
From December 18, 2021, Amman and from December 19, 2021, Aqaba will each be served two times a week from Vienna. “We are always happy to announce new destinations for our customers and to continuously expand our network.
