The low-cost airline Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will in future also fly to Moscow-Vnukovo. The carrier announced that the maiden flight would be on December 15, 2021. For the time being, four flights per week are planned with the Airbus A321neo.

The Russian capital is also served by sister companies Wizz Air UK from London-Luton and Wizz Air Hungary from Budapest. From December 13, 2021, the group also wants to fly to Moscow-Vnukovo from Debrecen, Hungary.

Another destination in Russia that Wizz Air has in its portfolio is Saint Petersburg. With the exception of Budapest, all routes are on hold. Only from Turin and London-Luton are tickets still being sold for from mid-December 2021. All other locations, including Salzburg, have already been postponed to the 2022 summer flight schedule.
