TAP Air Portugal is to wetlease two Xfly ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft. This will replace those machines that you recently canceled.

A few days ago it was announced that TAP has terminated its cooperation with the previous regional partner White Airways without notice. Among other things, the carrier was accused of having manufactured an exceptionally large number of AOGs and thus failures and delays.

A replacement was found in Estonia, because TAP takes two ATR72-600 from Xfly into the wet lease. The machines are used on regional routes from Portugal. The Xfly group sister Nordica has a few days ago operated the first commercial charter flight with Airbus A320.
