Emirates is responding to rising passenger demand and is increasing frequencies from Switzerland. There are now twice daily flights from Zurich to Dubai – previously eleven connections per week between the emirate and Zurich were on the flight plan.

"We are very pleased that, as part of the gradual expansion of our global route network, we will again be starting twice a day from Zurich in the direction of Dubai, thus once again underscoring our commitment to Switzerland," says Jürg Müller, Emirates Country Manager Switzerland. An A87 aircraft is in use on the first daily rotation EK88/380. The second connection of the day with the flight numbers EK85/86 will be carried out mostly with a Boeing 777, as the airport reports.
