The Lufthansa Group announced on Friday that as of October 7, 2020, around 3,2 billion euros in ticket refunds had been paid to around 7,3 million customers. According to the group, 650.000 applications with a value of 300 million euros are still open.

“Constantly changing travel restrictions and warnings force Lufthansa to keep changing flight plans. This leads to inevitable flight cancellations. The related reimbursement requests will be processed as quickly as possible. Therefore, the number of open reimbursement applications will continue to develop dynamically, will continue to decrease in the coming weeks, but will not reach zero entirely ”, said the crane in a broadcast.
