Norway is tightening the entry requirements due to the Omikron-Corona variant. Since Friday you have to undergo a mandatory test at the border crossings, regardless of whether you have been vaccinated or recovered or not.

Appropriate test stations have not yet been set up at all border crossings. If these are not yet available, at least a rapid antigen test must be carried out in Norway within 24 hours. The only exceptions are bus and truck drivers, commuters and airline flight personnel.

Within Norway, the corona measures are being tightened again. According to Health Minister Ingvild Kjerkol, the background is that the numbers have risen sharply in recent weeks. You also want to collect more data because of the Omikron variant and react accordingly if necessary.
