The airline Lufthansa, among others, is increasing ticket prices due to the rise in fuel costs. Depending on the route and booking class, between 20 and 200 euros more are required on long-haul routes. On the European routes, ticket prices will increase between 30 and XNUMX euros.

In the short-haul economy class, Lufthansa will have to shell out ten euros more in the future. In business class, the prices even increase by 30 euros. On long-haul routes, the increases depend on the travel class booked and the route. For example, in economy class, the return costs on flights to the USA increase by 30 euros. In the Premium Economy you have to add 50 euros, in Business Class 100 euros and in First even 200 euros.

According to the Lufthansa Group, the price increases apply to all group airlines, with the exception of tourist destinations in South America. They also want to do without the additional costs for special tariffs and in the context of advertising campaigns.
