The airline Helvetic Airways will lease four more Embraer E195s. These are E1 models that are purchased from Lessor Azorra. According to the Swiss aviation company, long-term contracts have been signed for this purpose.

The four additional jets were manufactured in 2011 and are scheduled to join the Helvetic Airways fleet at the beginning of the second quarter of the current year. These have 122 seats and, according to the company, will have a new interior including the red carpet typical of Helvetic.

“The four completely reconfigured and modernized aircraft will ideally complement our existing fleet. They will allow us to keep the flight schedule stable even under the currently challenging conditions and to guarantee our customers a high level of reliability, planning security and, above all, punctuality,” explains company boss Tobias Pogorevc.

The fleet, which is to be operated in the 2024 summer flight schedule, will then consist of 22 aircraft. These are four Embraer 195-E2, eight E190-E2, six E190 and four E195. The new additions are to be used on the existing route network.

“Helvetic Airways is an exciting new customer for Azorra and we greatly appreciate their commitment and the trust they have placed in us. Helvetic Airways has high standards of customer service, quality and operations, and we invest in our aircraft to achieve these same standards. “We look forward to delivering the aircraft and supporting the company with its future fleet planning,” said Michael Davis, Chief Marketing Officer of Azorra.
