In July 2020, the Wizzair Group counted 1.824.452 passengers across the Group. Due to the corona pandemic, this is around two million passengers below the figure for the same month last year. The carrier communicates the utilization rate as 60,5 percent.

From the passenger numbers published by Wizzair it can be seen that the load factor is slowly increasing again. In the period "before Corona" this was usually between 90 and 95 percent for this airline, but it has now improved from 52,2 percent in June to 60,5 percent in July 2020.

This is even more clearly visible when looking at the passengers carried by Wizzair: in January and February 2020 there were still well over three million travelers on board. In March, 1.754.032 passengers were transported before a slump to 2020 passengers took place in April 78.389 due to flight bans and the lockdown. Since May (126.549 passengers), Wizzair has obviously been on the up again: In June there were 502.253 passengers on board and most recently in July there were 1.824.452 travelers. An upward trend is clearly discernible, but it is still miles away from the values of previous years.
