A legal dispute between the Carinthian investment management and Lilihill, the majority owner of Klagenfurt Airport, is also occupying the Inner City District Court in Vienna. The state holding initially suffered a defeat because a temporary injunction was lifted.
The airport company has decided, with the approval of the board of directors, that 130 hectares of non-operational land is to be leased to a Lilihill affiliate. On the other hand, the KBV sued and also applied for an injunction, which meant that the lease could not be executed for the time being.
This matter is not being negotiated in Klagenfurt, but in Vienna before the Inner City District Court. In the course of the first hearing, the court lifted the temporary injunction, so that the airport and the Lilihill sister company can execute the lease agreement concluded in April with the approval of the supervisory board.
The judgment in this legal dispute shall be served on the parties in writing. However, the KBV, completely independent of the legal dispute in Vienna, wants to open another legal chapter and sue for the nullity of the lease agreement. In Klagenfurt, KBV and Lilihill are also in a dispute in court.
