A few months ago, the Romanian airline Dan Air entered the scheduled business. Among other things, Brasov is connected to Nuremberg. Now, for the first time, a group of students has been flown in as part of a student exchange.

For the first student exchange between the Honterus-Gymnasium in Braşov, Romania and the Sigmund-Schuckert-Gymnasium in Nuremberg, a school class with two supervisors traveled on board the Dan Air and was welcomed at Nuremberg Airport by city councilor Werner Henning.

The young people from the municipality in Romania, which is close friends with Nuremberg, are staying with families from the region and will take part in lessons at their host school. Nuremberg students travel to Braşov in the winter for a return visit.

Dan Air has been flying from Nuremberg to Brașov in Romania since early summer. From winter onwards, the airline will even increase the connection to Braşov from one to two weekly flights. Good news for city and business travelers and especially for the large community with Romanian roots in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, who use the offer to visit each other with family and friends.
