The dispute between the manufacturer and Qatar Airways is not resolved. Further court cases are ongoing. Regardless of the outcome, the airline must accept and pay for more Airbus A350-1000s. Only a few weeks ago, the carrier was defeated by the aircraft manufacturer in matters canceled bulk order of 50 A321neo Likewise. Airbus is allowed to use the machines sell to other customers and is said to have already started.
Qatar Airways accuses the European aircraft manufacturer significant quality defects on the A350 before. Airbus believes that the defects are cosmetic at best. It is also pointed out that EASA classified these as not relevant to safety. The golf carrier has so far refused to make any improvements by the manufacturer. The acceptance of further machines was refused and for this reason Airbus demands compensation. The court has now ruled that the airline must accept and pay for additional A350-1000s.
