The German holiday airline Condor will shortly return the Boeing 767 with the registration D-ABUL to lessor Aercap. The company confirmed to Aviation Direct that the contract is expiring and will not be renewed.
The exact day for the excursion to the Pinal Airpark has not yet been determined. Condor declares that this will take place in January 2021 in any case. The leisure airline recently used this Boeing 767 as a temporary cargo aircraft.
The D-ABUL was delivered to China Southern Airlines in 1994, where it was in service until 1998. She then flew for the Italian Eurofly until 2001, then for Alitalia and in March 2012 the long-haul jet joined Condor. A replacement for this machine will not be included in the fleet, at least for the time being.
