The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings has announced another new destination from Dortmund, Rhodes. The Greek island is to be visited on Monday and Friday from July 2, 2021. The carrier is stationing two aircraft in Dortmund.

In addition to Munich, Split and Mallorca, the airline will also be flying to Alicante, Kavala, Malaga, Heraklion, Naples and Catania from June. In summer 2021, the focus will be on tourist destinations. The competitor Wizz Air also announced numerous new routes from Dortmund, so that strong competition can be expected.
