The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings is extending the temporary suspension of non-stop routes from Graz to Stuttgart and from Linz to Düsseldorf until at least February 21, 2022. This is the second extension of the flight break.

Originally it was said that the resumption should take place at the beginning of January 2022, but shortly afterwards it was extended to the end of January 2022. It is now planned that the flight will not start until Monday, February 21, 2022. However, it remains to be seen whether this date will hold or whether there will be another postponement.

The new Eurowings route from Graz to Düsseldorf is also affected. This is taken over by Austrian Airlines, but the originally announced admission date has not yet been met and has been postponed. It is currently planned that the first flight will take place on February 21, 2022. It remains to be seen whether it actually works this time.

Cancellations and reductions also in Germany

Eurowings is also suspending some routes in Germany. For example, the Düsseldorf-Dresden route has been on a break since the beginning of this year. It is currently planned that it should remain so until February 13, 2022. On the routes from Stuttgart to Dresden and Hanover and from Cologne / Bonn to Dresden, the temporary suspension is expected to be extended until February 27, 2022.

There will be reductions on the connections from Stuttgart to Bremen and from Cologne / Bonn to Vienna-Schwechat. The first-mentioned route will only be operated twice a week in February 2022, on Monday and Friday. From Cologne / Bonn, the Austrian capital will only be served six times a week.
