Austrian aerospace supplier FACC AG and Archer Aviation Inc. have signed an agreement to cooperate in the manufacture and supply of fuselage and wing elements for Archer's eVTOL series aircraft.

The aircraft is currently under development. The Austrians are to produce essential components and deliver them to Archer. "Archer believes that partnering with leading aerospace component suppliers will help drive our long-term success, as evidenced by our decision to work with FACC AG," said Adam Goldstein, CEO of Archer. "FACC's proven track record of manufacturing advanced aerospace composite structures, coupled with a focus on innovation and safety, make the company the perfect supplier for some of the most critical elements of our aircraft structure."

"We are very proud that with Archer Aviation we can count one of the market leaders in the up-and-coming field of urban air mobility among our customers," explains CEO Robert Machtlinger. “For the future we expect that this area in aviation will grow strongly. We are thrilled to be part of this development with such an innovative partner.”
