On Wednesday the Airbus A320 operated by Wizz Air Hungary with the registration HA-LYF had to complete a return landing at Vienna International Airport. The medium-haul jet should have flown to Pristina as W62883.

The carrier confirmed the incident to Aviation Direct, stating that the pilots had received a warning that the cargo door was open. For safety reasons, the captain then decided that a return landing at Vienna-Schwechat airport would be carried out.

The passengers were able to leave the Airbus A320 without any problems. The door concerned was closed at all times during the flight. It was an erroneous warning. Technicians checked the machine and released the jet shortly afterwards. The HA-LYF then flew to Pristina with a delay of around two hours and passengers on board. It's about the Second return landing by Wizz Air within a few days.
