The regional airline Helvetic Airways is looking for ski instructors who want to work as flight attendants on board the Embraer fleet in the 2022 summer flight schedule. Temporary employment is offered until the end of October 2022.
For the ski instructors in the mountain areas, the season is slowly coming to an end. For all those who are looking for a change and an exciting job during the summer months, Helvetic Airways has created a new and innovative working model: "Ski & Fly".
"With our flexible working hours, we offer ski instructors and all other seasonal employees an exciting opportunity to bridge the summer months with a varied and responsible job and to be back on the ski slopes at the start of the 2022/23 winter season," says Franz Lindauer, the as Head of Cabin Crew responsible for the introduction of the new program. Another advantage: since Helvetic Airways only operates regional routes, the crew is often back home in the evenings – an important aspect, especially for parents.
While newly trained flight attendants typically work their entire first year in a full-time position, the Ski & Fly program is initially designed for two summer seasons, but can be extended at any time if required. The entry dates and the start of the training courses are May 1st and mid-May (date still open) and June 1st and mid-June 2022.
