On September 13, 2023, Greece will introduce the 2G rule in restaurants and tourist facilities, among other things. At the same time, corona tests will have to be paid for yourself in the future. The aim is obviously to increase the pressure on unvaccinated people. The “third G” can only be used for a fee.

In addition to restaurants, cinemas, theaters, museums and similar institutions are also affected. Anyone who has not been vaccinated or recovered must also present a corona test that is no longer than 48 hours old when traveling in Germany by public transport, including airplanes and ferries. From September 13th, 2021 you have to pay the costs yourself.

The government hopes that this financial pressure can induce more people to be vaccinated against Covid-19. However, the procedure is quite controversial, because there have already been demonstrations against the plans in many cities.
