The Alitalia successor Ita Airways is increasing its presence in Germany during the current 2022 summer period. There are 114 weekly flights between Italy and Germany.

Increases occurred particularly in Stuttgart and Frankfurt am Main. The state capital of Baden-Württemberg is served 24 times a week from Milan-Linate. From Rome-FCO, Frankfurt flights have been increased to daily service.

Ita Airways has not taken over the former Alitalia Germany offer seamlessly, but has gradually reactivated the routes. We are currently in a kind of expansion phase, because the carrier can imagine heading for other airports in Germany or, depending on requirements, increasing the frequencies on existing routes.
