Zurich-Kloten Airport counted a total of 2021 passengers in July 1.365.394. Compared to the same month last year, the company was able to increase by 98,3 percent, but it is 56,7 percent below the value that was achieved in 2019.

The number of local passengers was 2021 in July 1.036.744. The share of transfer passengers was 23,6 percent, which corresponds to 320.926 passengers. The number of flight movements rose compared to the same month last year by 54,7 percent to 15.283 take-offs or landings. Compared to July 2019, there were 40,7 percent fewer flight movements. On average there were 116,6 passengers on board. Compared to the previous year, an increase of 11,3 percent. The load factor improved by 5,8 percentage points to 68,1 percent.

A total of 31.701 tons of freight were handled at Zurich Airport in July. This corresponds to an increase of 47,3 percent compared to the same month last year. Compared to July 2019, 15,9 percent less cargo was handled.
