The Austrian Federal Railways are once again offering combination tickets under the ÖBB Plus brand this year. Excursions can be combined with train tickets. The bottom line is that passengers should save money.

First, a train ticket must be selected. The ÖBB Plus offers can be added during the booking process. Vorteilscard holders receive a discount when purchasing standard tickets that are not tied to a specific train. The combination of ÖBB-Plus with special tourist tickets or tickets from the transport associations is permitted.

If the online booking is too cumbersome, you can also get advice from the ÖBB hotline and book the desired offer there. Alternatively, the ticket counters and ÖBB travel agencies are also available. "Offers from art, culture, adventure, sport, nature, technology - our ÖBB Plus tickets are as colorful as life and are just waiting to be explored by our guests," explains Eva Buzzi, Managing Director of ÖBB Rail Tours.

58 destinations within Austria

In addition to the well-established classics such as the House of the Sea in Vienna, the Universal Museum Joanneum in Graz, the Raxalpe, the Mozart Museum in Salzburg, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, etc., there are of course also attractive new items in the programme. You can breathe sea air, for example, on a boat trip on Lake Attersee. There are two tours to choose from.

In Lower Austria, four new highlights invite you to visit them: With the "Summer Freshness Experience" of the Raxalpe, you can enjoy a ride on the Höllentalbahn and a vintage bus. The ascent and descent with the Rax cable car is also included. The LOISIUM wine world is guaranteed to make every wine heart beat faster. The Museumkrems invites you to take a look at more than 1000 years of history and the Klosterneuburg Abbey fascinates with the Verdun Altar and the Austrian archduke's hat.

But the federal capital Vienna also has some attractions in its repertoire as new ÖBB Plus partners: Madame Tussauds Vienna, Danube Tower or a 24-hour hop on hop off tour from Vienna Sightseeing - offers for young and old.

In the Hofburg Innsbruck you can visit the permanent exhibition "Maximilian1" and the Imperial Apartments all year round with the combination ticket. The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Parndorf is certainly the ideal destination for fashion enthusiasts: the discounted Gift Card can be booked here as an ÖBB Plus. A highlight in the folder is, of course, the "Wachau-Ticket" combination ticket, which invites you to visit one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in Europe under the motto "Bahn+Schiff+Stift".
