The tour operator Tui has recorded promising booking figures for the Austrian autumn holidays. It was therefore decided to expand the offer from Vienna, Graz and Salzburg. Destinations in Cyprus, Egypt and Turkey are particularly popular this year.

From Linz, Graz, Vienna and Salzburg, the tour operator is offering package tours to Hurghada for the upcoming autumn holidays. Due to the high demand, seats on four additional Austrian Airlines aircraft from Vienna have been added to the programme. Tui has also increased the offer for Larnaca with two additional flights each from Graz and Linz on October 25th and 26th

For relaxing holidays on the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes, TUI offers flights from Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg. TUI still has remaining places for Santorini and Marsa Alam, departing from Vienna on October 22nd. There is also availability for package tours to Cancún on October 23, 27 and 31 from Vienna. Antalya and Mallorca are also ideal destinations for autumn vacations.

"It is very gratifying that TUI guests are so keen to travel during the autumn holidays," says David Szabo, Head of Operations, Flight & Product Management at Tui. “We have increased our flight capacities in the destinations that are particularly in high demand in good time, so there are still seats available. But if you want to fly away in the autumn holidays, you should book now,” advises Szabo.

In the current Tui autumn holiday trend check 2022, Hurghada leads ahead of Larnaka and Antalya on the medium-haul route. The diver's paradise Marsa Alam is again new in the program from autumn: The small Egyptian town has made it into the top 5 destinations in the ranking. In the country ranking, Egypt is ahead of Spain and Cyprus.

On the long-distance route, the United Arab Emirates are in the lead this year, followed by last year's winner, the Maldives. The USA is in third place, followed by Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
