According to the French-Dutch aviation group Air France-KLM, demand remains high. One looks optimistically to the upcoming winter 2022/23 and expects that in the first quarter of 2023 the offer can be increased to 90 percent of the pre-crisis level.

In the third quarter of 2022, it was airborne at 85 percent capacity. Around 25 million passengers were carried during this period. Sales were communicated at 8,1 billion euros and are said to be 77,6 percent higher than a year ago.

Air France-KLM was able to announce an operating profit of 1,02 billion euros. That could surpass what you had before the pandemic. According to company boss Ben Smith, one benefited from the high demand. The manager assumes that the full year 2022 will be closed with an operating profit of at least 900 million euros. The bottom line in Q3/2022 was 460 million euros. The same period last year had to be closed with a deficit of 192 million euros.
